The Board recognized the PUBLIC FORUMS—Proposed Rezoning of Elefollowing student represenmentary & Intermediate Campuses tatives for the month of The remaining two public forums on proposed reJanuary: zoning will be held January 27 at Schertz Elementary and January 28 at Rose Garden Elementary, from 6:30—7:45 p.m. Trustees will consider and take possible action on the rezoning of elementary and intermediate campuses during a called Board meeting on February 12.

Trustees were recognized by students and staff during the January 22 Board Meeting, in honor of Jamie Potter (12th grader) School Board Recognition Month. Board members - Steele High School, PALS, enjoyed a meal catered by Culinary Arts students from both Clemens and Steele High Schools prior to the meeting. Students from each campus presented Trustees with library books, dedicated in their honor. These books, signed by Trustees, will be placed in campus libraries throughout the district. Board review of initial budget projections for SY 2015-16. These projections will be refined and reported on throughout the remainder of the 2014-15 school year, prior to adoption of the SY 2015-16 budget in August.
Board approval on new positions for SY 2015-2016 to accommodate additional student projections due to growth, as well as the opening of Cibolo Valley Elementary.
Board approval on the allocation of $1.6 million dollars from fund balance for needed computer replacement, software licensing, and a comprehensive technology audit.
Board approval of TASB Policy Update 101, which encompasses State Board rules and other recent changes in law affecting SCUCISD, as well as refinements to local Board policies.
