Jim Vincent created a vision for Galena and always looked for new ways to serve the community. He carried out his vision by generously giving back to the community in many ways. At Illinois Bank & Trust, we continue this vision. It is our top priority to enhance the quality of life in our community. We are proud to support, sponsor and participate in the activities, events and organizations that positively impact our environment – and our people. This scholarship is offered by Illinois Bank & Trust to help further the education of a Galena High School graduate, and to inspire them to give back to their community.

Eligibility To be eligible for the Illinois Bank & Trust Scholarship, a student must be accepted to a 2-4 year college or vocational school, as well as meeting the following criteria: 1. Current senior graduating from Galena High School 2. Must have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.0 3. Applicant or parent must have a banking relationship with Illinois Bank & Trust

Application 1. Must be completed and submitted to the guidance counselor’s office by April 16, 2018 2. Must include one letter of recommendation 3. Must include an essay describing how you will use your education to impact the community in which you live

Award Award recipient will be announced at Senior Awards Night. The recipient will be required to provide Illinois Bank & Trust with their first semester schedule prior to receiving the scholarship funds.
