POISED/STELCO/Phase 2/Package 1: Design, Supply, Installation of 8MW of Diesel Generator in Male’ Capital City of Maldives on turnkey basis 28 September 2015, Monday at 1100 hours (Maldivian Time)
1. The Republic of the Maldives has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Preparing Outer Islands for Sustainable Energy Development Project. Part of this Grant will be used for payments under the contract named above. 2. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, Republic of Maldives on behalf of Ministry of Environment and Energy (the “Employer”) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation of 8MW of Diesel Generator in Male’ Capital City of Maldives on turnkey basis. 3. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's SingleStage: Two Envelope bidding procedure. 4. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv from 12 August 2015 to 27 September 2015 between 0830hrs and 1430hrs on all working days. Bidders interested to participate in the bidding are required to pay non-refundable registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) or USD 100.00 (United States Dollar One Hundred). 5.

6. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 27 August 2015 at 1100 hours Maldivian time at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
7. Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to above given mail addresses on or before 3 September 2015, Thursday at 1400 hours. 8. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount as stated in Bidding Document which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. 9. Bids shall be valid for a period of 180 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified above on or before 1100 hours Maldivian time on 28 September 2015, Monday at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. 10.
