END SEMESTER EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS Arrive at the examination venue/hall at least 30 minutes before the start time (8.30AM for morning session and 1.30PM for afternoon session). Seating arrangement detailing registration number, will be posted in the department notice board. It is important that the student occupy the same seat as allocated on the seating plan. Students are permitted to enter the examination room approximately 15 minutes before the start of the examination. If the student arrive late by more than half an hour (9.30AM for morning session & 2.30PM for afternoon session), then he/she will not be permitted to take the examination. The student is not permitted to leave the examination room during the first half an hour (till 9.30AM for morning session & 2.30PM for afternoon session) or the last 15 minutes of examination. At the end of the examination, the students are not allowed to leave their desk until all the answer scripts from that room has been collected by an invigilator. Always keep the Examination Admit Card & College issued photo ID card with you and show it to the invigilator on duty / squad members as and when required/demanded. If any student do not possess the Admit card, then report to the Department Examination Office with the college issued photo ID card / copy of Admission Order along with INR 100 before the start of examination. In case of any genuine medical reason, the student may be allowed to leave the hall temporarily only if he/she has the prior approval from Associate Director (Academics). The examinees should check their pockets, desks, geometry boxes, wallet, calculator etc. immediately after they occupy their seats. Any written paper found should be handed over to the invigilator before the schedule start of examination. No candidate shall be allowed to carry inside the Examination Hall, any textual material, printed or written, bits of paper or any other material of like nature. If any candidate is found in possession of such material after commencement of examination - whether in use or not- he/she is liable to be disqualified. Cellular phones, pagers, programmable calculators and other electronic devices are not allowed during the examination.

If any candidate is found in possession of Mobile phones, cellular phones, pagers and other unauthorized electronic gadgets etc. in the examination hall after commencement of the examination - whether in use or not - he/she will be deemed to have been using unfair-means. Any candidate attempting to receive help from any source in any manner or attempting to render help to another candidate(s) will be dealt with in accordance with provisions of unfair-means. A candidate misbehaving in or around the Examination Centre is liable to be disqualified. Exchange of any of the stationary item inside the examination hall will not be permitted. Write your Register No., Name, Subject Name, Subject Code and date of exam neatly and correctly on the front page of answer booklet. Do not write any other matter except your register number on your question paper (scribbling on the parts of body is also not allowed). Number your answers according to the numbers given in the question paper. No blank page(s) be left in between answers to various questions. When the answer to one complete question is finished, the answer to another question must begin after leaving a margin of 3 to 4 blank lines. It applies to parts of questions also. Write on both sides of the leaf in the answer-book. Any rough drafting, calculations, etc if made should be crossed out. These will not be read by the examiner OR you can use last page of answer booklet for any rough work. No leaves should be torn out of the answer-book or folded. Any answer crossed out by you will not be examined by the examiner. Write on each ruled line and do not waste pages unnecessarily. No answer book or page of any kind is to be removed from the Examination Hall except the question paper. No page is to be torn out/replaced in the answer book. Strike off the blank pages in the Answer book, if any, before submitting the Answer Book to the invigilator. Do not leave the examination hall without handing over your answer-book to the invigilator even if no answer has been attempted. Last but not least, during the course of examination the candidates shall be under the discipline and control of the Chief Superintendent and shall obey all orders passed by the Superintendent on all matters relating to the examinations.
