Dictionaries: Any bilingual dictionary by Oxford, Cambridge, Longman or Collins. School library and multimedia room (C/ Aragó, 59): Basic 2 students need some extra work. The school library and multimedia room will let you practise in an enjoyable way. It will be open from 17th October. Attendance policy Students have to attend 35% lessons in order to be considered as former students for registration purposes. However, no attendance is necessary to have the right to do the final exams in June and September.

Assessment and Tests During the year, students will do several tests on four different parts (Reading comprehension, Listening comprehension, Writing and Speaking) to provide them with enough exam practice, as well as to give both the student and the teacher information on the progress made. A mock exam has been scheduled to be done in February 2017. Nevertheless, the final and official exam to obtain the Certificat de nivell bàsic (level A2) will take place in May-June & September 2017. Students will be evaluated four skills in their final exam: Reading comprehension, Listening comprehension, Writing and Speaking. Each skill is worth 25% of the total mark, and the student needs to pass each one of them independently of the others with a minimum mark of 60%. § Reading Test = 25% § Listening Test = 25% § Writing Test = 25% § Speaking Test = 25% The students who do the September exam can only take the parts of the exam that they failed in May-June.
