6 Hour DASA Training – Hybrid This DASA training is 6 hours which is mandated by the New York State Education Department for all new certifications. There are 2 distinct sessions to meet this requirement, each are 3 hours in length. This training is set up as a hybrid/blended learning workshop. Participants will be required to complete the online portion (Section 1) prior to admittance into the in-person (Section 2) training. Please note the Registration Deadline, the online course deadline, and the inperson dates for the course. Payment for the training must be received prior to the Online start date a. Payment can be cash, check or money order made out to Jeff-Lewis BOCES b. Remit payment to Jeff-Lewis BOCES, ATTN: Karen Plummer, 20104 State Route 3, Watertown, NY 13601 c. Cost is $50 per participant ($25 for coaches) d. Once payment is received you will receive an email with the log on information for the online Section 1 training. Once you made payment you will receive the log on information to complete the online (Section 1) training. It is designed to be completed in approximately 3 hours. (PLEASE NOTE: you must read materials and successfully complete the assessments embedded in the online portion of the course.) Print off the certificate of completion for the online course and bring it to the inperson training. Make sure you have a TEACH Account and all documents that you fill out for DASA training match your TEACH Account name.
