AGE GROUPS:(may be subject to change to fill brackets) (Color of Bracket) 8 and Under Bantam: Blue 9-11 Midget: Yellow 12-14 Junior: Junior High School: Red
Facilities: Mahomet-Seymour High School Field House 7 Wrestling Mats: Some mats will be split in half for 8 and under and 9-11 age groups.
Registration & Entry Fees: Pre-Registration must be received by April 9. $15 Pre-Registration fee
15-18 Senior: High School: Orange
Registration will be taken at the door.
19 and Older Open: Out of High School: White
$20 Registration at the door
AGE DIVISIONS: Will be determined by the participants age as of April 12, 2014. A photocopy of birth certificate or some other document showing proof of age may be required at weigh-in.
WEIGHT CLASSES:
Rules & Regulations: IHSA Rules apply. Any actions deemed detrimental to the health and safety of oneself or to the other participants, or destruction of property will result in immediate dismissal from the tournament.
Will be determined after weigh-in.
Food & Refreshments:
Participants are guaranteed two matches.
Breakfast: Cold Cereal and Milk, Bagels and
WRESTLING STYLE: Folkstyle (IHSA Rules except for length of periods)
Cream Cheese, Muffins, Fruit, Coffee, Juice, Bottled Water, Pop, Sports Drinks, Snacks Lunch: Pizza, Hot Dogs, Sloppy Joe, Subs,
1-1-1 for Bantam and Midget: 4 Man Brackets or 3 Man Round Robin will be used
Baked Potato with Cheese, Popcorn, Candy,
and wrestled on half mats.
Fruit, Coffee, Juice, Bottled Water, Sports
2-1-1 for Junior, Senior, and Open: 8 Man Brackets, 5 Man Brackets, 4 Man
Drinks, Snacks
Round Robin or 3 Man Round Robin will be used and wrestled on full mats.
AWARDS: Medals for top 5 finishes in each bracket.
INSURANCE: Each participant must provide their own accident insurance and sign the waiver.
Location: Take I-74 West of Champaign about 12 miles. Exit 172. Go South at exit into Mahomet. Turn right on Franklin at stoplight. Curve right at first stop sign, then left at second stop sign on State Street. MSHS is on the right after half mile. You will pass Lincoln Trail Elementary and the Junior High School.
