9CR ID Card Application Directions and Photo Guidelines Application Directions: 1. Member completes the “9CR Auxiliary ID Card Application” form. 2. Photo is taken following the “Photo Guidelines” found below. 3. DCDR, FC (or designated Division or Flotilla member) sends the application and photo to the DSO-HR at
[email protected]. ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY! 4. Only IQ, BQ or AUXOP members are eligible for an ID Card. 5. No applications will be processed for members in AP (Applicant Pending) status or members who have not completed all mandatory courses. 6. Expired cards may only be processed for replacement within 60 days of expiration. 7. Only members moving from BQ to AUXOP can have their cards replaced because of the status change. Therefore, members who have a card that lists them as IQ cannot have a new one issued when they move to BQ. Photo Guidelines 1. Members MUST: a. Follow the dress code as outlined in the Auxiliary Manual, Chapter 10, Section C (uniforms must be clean and neat). b. Be in a uniform as identified in the Auxiliary Manual, Chapter 10, Sections D thru I. c. Be uncovered (no hats). 2. Head and shoulder photo must be taken with a RED background. 3. Member photo must be taken facing forward (no profile shots). 4. Only digital, un-cropped “jpeg” photos are accepted between 500 KB and 1 MB in size. 5. Files must be identified in the following manner: Smith_1234567_Application; Smith_12334567_Photo) 6. The photo should be taken with a flash and must be in sharp focus. 7. The photo must have adequate contrast and brightness. 8. No earrings for men. Women can only be wearing metal stud earrings. 9. No necklaces or gold chains can be visible. 10. No undershirt should be showing if wearing the Tropical Blue uniform (light blue short-sleeve shirt). 11. The electronic photo file must accompany the application form when submitted.
