1. ICO Market Overview As a rating platform, we pay more attention to best ranking ICOs. Our evaluation system is based on a combination of the ICO profile rating based on our own algorithm that uses more than 20 different criteria and the ratings provided by the independent experts. On the other hand, it is highly important how much a project raised during its ICO and how the number and the value of the ratings could affect the number of funds raised. In this section, we try to build a picture of this interrelationship.

Countries & Platforms The ICO market has its leaders presented not only as projects but also as countries and the platforms the project teams build their ICOs on. The map above shows the countries those became leaders in the following criteria: the number of ICOs, the number of ICOs per 1 million people, and the total sum of funds raised by the projects from the country. As you can see, Ethereum has become a market standard. At the same time, today many projects base their products on Waves platform and other runners-up.

6. ICO Market Insider We have asked our top experts to comment on the market trends and give their forecast for the upcoming week.

In the “mad dash” to get ICO funding, I have recently observed a trend that is both disturbing and dishonest. Good projects do things right: they don’t cut corners, attempt to deceive and are completely transparent in their approach and management of the investor community. The trends of “bad projects” are: creating fake project team members, having advisors that are not associated with the ico in any way, creating “ghost communities” through agencies or bots, being not registered properly as a business and numerous other “deceptions” to entice investors. Even if the technology is sound and has promise, Webster’s Dictionary defines SCAM as: a dishonest way to make money by deceiving people. So, the projects better put in the time, money and effort to do it right.

Well, there will always be spikes in the wheels with cryptocurrency and ICOs, but I think that the market will adapt to these difficulties as soon as possible and will then start growing, and both fresh blood and new users along with new investments will catch up to everything. The world will find a way out, as eternal downfalls simply cannot happen. Now, nobody will invest money into empty ICO projects, where there is no advertising, rapid growth, strong team and strong advisors and no MVP. Therefore, given current conditions, if the company wants to carry out a successful ICO, it shall think beforehand of the budget on advertising, marketing, branding, MVP and experts.

The market is recovering and we believe we are slowly approaching a new bull run. The new developing scenario appears to be less driven by hype and more responsive to the solidity of the new crypto market growing infrastructure. It’s important to point out that in this phase the ICO which rely on less known blockchain networks have more chances to succeed. It’s up to the experts to distinguish between legitimate ICO and fraudulent ones even by simply not accepting to advice indifferently ANY of them. According to this, it might be appropriate for a good expert to fix an advising limit of one ICO every three months.
