How to talk about your hometown in Japanese Lesson goal In this podcast you’ll learn how to say where you are from, describe it and recommend a good place to go sightseeing. This is a great icebreaker when meeting Japanese for the first time and you’ll learn to do without breaking a sweat as all the vocabulary and phrases are quite simple. All the dialogs use simple set phrases which are written in black. Information regarding your hometown etc is written in blue which you can change to fit your own circumstances. Dialog 01 A: ご出身はどこですか? B: ロンドンです A: そうですか。どんなところですか B: 賑やかですね A: おすすめな観光スポットはありますか?
