Adding an Image to the Banner By the HSSD Tech Department

Step 1: Login to your account in upper right hand corner of the screen.

Step 2: After you login, click the toggle button in the upper left hand corner of the screen to turn “Design Mode” to On.

Step 3: Once Design Mode is turned on (the icon will appear green when this is done, and it turns off every time you navigate to a new page), wait until the banner portlet (the red box around the banner) completely loads. When it is loaded, a pencil icon will appear in the portlet. This is the “edit” icon. Click it.

Step 4: Once you click the edit button, a screen will appear that shows you all the images currently in your rotating banner. To add an image, click “Add Image” in the upper right hand corner of the box labeled “Images.”

Step 5: This will take you to a page where you can search for the picture you want to add to the banner. From here, you will want to click “Browse.”

Step 6: A pop up will appear of the image manager. Since we are adding a banner image, you will want to click on Banner Image.

Step 7 (This step is for if your picture has already been on your banner. If it hasn’t, skip ahead to Step 8): Now that you are in the Banner Image folder, if the photo you wish to add to your banner has already been added in the past, this folder should still have that picture in it. If this is the case, search that folder, and click “Insert”

Then name the picture, and click “Insert Image”

Step 8 (If your picture has never been on the banner before. Skip this step if you used Step 7): Now that you are in the Banner Image folder, you will want to click on “Upload Image”

Then click “Select”

This will allow you to search your machine for the image you wish to upload. Once, you find the right image, select it and click “Upload”

Then click “Insert”

Then name the picture, and click “Insert Image”

Step 9: Your picture is now added to your banner.
