High School Fundamentals This course provides a foundation in skills for successful organization, communication and general tools students will need to be successful in high school.
Future: Students will focus on the future by
learning how to complete job applications and create resumes, obtain references, develop work ethics, take care of responsibilities and manage time. Students will experience team- building, develop leadership skills, learn about the importance of participating in school and community serice, and explore career interests.
Health and Wellness: This course will also
focus on health and wellness for teens including how to develop good eating habits, exercise, get the right amount of sleep, avoid peer pressure, substance abuse, and how to avoid bullying.
Academia: Focus on academic skills, include
how to stay involved, how to understand personal learning styles, develop presentation skills and how to utilize study skills. Students will also explore higher education options.
Activities: Student will take field trips to
Rogers State University, Claremore, Will Rogers Museum and Tri County Technology Center.

Bartlesville Education Promise is proud to present
Transportation Transportation will be provided. Bus pick up will be at centralized locations. Those locations will be determined by June 30th and will be posted on the BHS website.
Cost to Attend This course is free of charge thanks to the financial support of Bartlesville Education Promise. However, there is a $10 registration fee.
