Home x Hardware x Health Bud, a robotic plant, is an emotive companion for people such as millenials and baby boomers who prefer a physical representation of the day’s weather and their heart rate as a statement to the growing digital world. This plant can be placed anywhere from a table top to a bed side window sill.

The LED lights monitors the user’s heart rate, and the opening and closing of the flower petals display the outside temperature. This product is an exploration of emotional intelligence and creating a world-centric product, rather than a solely human-centric product.
