SWIM TEAM Both recreational and competitive swim team programs are available. Focus is placed on strengthening strokes, endurance, and racing techniques in a fun team environment. Drop in on any of our practices for a free tryout.

Each package has both recreational and competitive options that can be adjusted to fit the needs, desires, and skill levels of each and every child Enrollment in auto-pay is mandatory before participation. Charges are deducted on the 1st of every month.

What better way to celebrate your special event than with a pool party? Reserve the Y's outdoor heated pool for your next group event or party and make memories that will last a lifetime! Our pool is three feet deep in the shallow end and gradually descends to nine feet deep in the deep end. All kids will be swim tested in order to enter the deep end of the pool. Water Acclimation & Movement -Beginner Students develop comfort with under water exploration and learn to safely enter and exit the pool. Students will focus on body position and control, directional change, and forward movement in the water.

STROKE MECHANICS

Water Stamina & Stroke Introduction - Intermediate Students will learn how to swim to safety from a longer distance. Rhythmic breathing and integrating arm and leg actions are introduced. Students will also develop stroke technique in front and back crawl and learn the breaststroke and butterfly kick.

Stroke Development & Mechanics -Advanced Students will work on stroke technique and will learn all major competitive strokes as well as competitive skills such as flip turns and racing dives. We will also incorporate swimming for a healthy lifestyle, and refine strokes to be more water efficient.

PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS Private swim lessons are perfect for both children and adults who are learning how to swim, training for an event, or just looking for one-on-one attention. Sessions are 30 minutes in length and include individual instruction focused specifically on your goals. An instructor will be scheduled according to your preferred days/times to the best of our ability.
