My Access-a writing program utilized by all 8th grade students and to be expanded into 6th and 7th grade this year. Students type their essays into the My Access computer program and are turned in and scored immediately on a 6 point scale. They are given feedback on every area of their writing and have opportunities to correct and resubmit their essay. My Access contains a prewriting feature as well.

Accelerated Reader-an ongoing program that spans form the beginning of the nine weeks until the end of the nine weeks. The students are presented a goal which has to be achieved by reading selections fitted to their reading ability. Students are than tested on comprehension by taking the test via a computer program. The program is non-discriminatory in selection. All students regardless of reading abilities are participating in the AR program. Success Strategies/Bridges Classes- students are screened to participate in the class. The class size is kept at 25 or below. Selfpaced curriculum in this classroom allows students to work on different objectives in which the software is divided. Students work their way through the objectives, practice each objective, participate in exercises and test out of each lesson. If they do not score high enough on the test, they must return to the practice and exercise portion of the program and retest until they can show mastery. American Reader- a program that is designed to increase reading levels. The program builds stronger reading skills in comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, and analyzing information. Students are identified through needs analysis and scheduled into the library to participate in the program.

Leap Achiever/Mechanics- a computer-based program that is assigned to all students. Upon entering 6th grade, students are enrolled in the program and mapped to classes for ELA, Math, and Science. All teachers are trained in the program. The program is managed by pre and post tests and assignment reports, student summary reports, and standards reports. Jane Schaeffer Writing Program- all ELA teachers have been trained in this writing model and are implementing it within their weekly instruction.

Math Facts in a Flash is a software program in which students practice their math facts to increase fluency. Students work at their own pace. They must do practices and tests. In order to master a set of facts they have to get a certain number of problems correct in a certain amount of time.

Go Math My Personal Trainer is a computer-based program available to all math and Success Strategies/BRIDGES teachers which can be used to assign prescriptive lessons and standards-based interventions to each student individually. All math teachers and RTI teachers have been trained in the program and all students have logins.

Students are screenedd to participate in a BRIDGES class where class size is kept at 25 or below. Self-paced curriculum in this classroom allows students to work on different objectives in which the software is divided. Students work their way through the objectives, practice each objective, participate in exercises, and test out of the lesson. If they do not score high enough on the test, they must return to the practice and exercise portion of the program and retest until they can show mastery.

Summative Evaluation (250 Characters): Benchmark STAR Math tests as well as common assessments are given throughout the

school year. The first and last are pre- and post-tests. The last administration serves as the summative evaluation.
