Why Cleanse? Its January... Part of starting the year off is to make sure your house is clean going into the new year. Well part of our "house keeping" involves cleansing our system every three months. You change your oil in your car every three to six months well why not do the same in cleaning out your intestinal track? When you cleanse, having a good game plan is key that includes eating the right foods, and using the right products at the right times. Our 10 Day Cleanse (here is a preview of the program) is very effective at getting the job done in a “gentle and uneventful” way. My clients average about 5 to 10lbs of weight loss when doing our cleanse program. Here is a short video from Dr. Oz on how you shouldn’t cleanse. Keep in mind that when cleansing you’re lowering your immune system - 70 to 80% of your immune system is located in your gut. If you’re the type that catches colds easily, I have my clients boost up there immune system a few days prior to starting the program, as well as keep it boosted throughout the cleanse by staying on our C-Grams and Probiotics. Another tip while cleansing properly, if you’re not “regular,” the cleanse will not change your frequency but enhance the amount you expel when you do go. I regularly encounter this issue with clients and have a system to get you going before you start the cleanse. What I mean by regular may be different from what the medical profession considers regular, which is a few times a week. When I say regular, I’m referring to a few times a day. In conjunction to cleansing your intestinal track, don't forget to donate blood every 60 days or more as part of keeping healthy. Your bone marrow will make new clean blood for you as the old blood is removed from your system. If you’re losing weight part of the way to get the POP's out of your body is through getting rid of the blood that it seeped into from your stored body fat that you shed.
