Technical Officers can take up the specified induction training as approved by the Competent Authority. On successful completion of the said training they may be considered for track change to “Scientific Officer” at the time of next promotion. Candidates with additional relevant experience and good performance at the recruitment interview may be considered for grant of a maximum of 5 advance increments. In addition to the pay indicated above, the selected candidates will be entitled for other allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules such as House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance as per rates applicable at the place of posting. Candidates will be required to attend in round-the-clock shift duties.

The selected candidates will be posted at Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad or in Zirconium Complex, Pazhayakayal, Tuticorin District, Tamilnadu or NFC, Kota or to any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy in India.

Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfill all the eligibility norms. The candidates should have the requisite Educational/Technical qualifications from recognized University/Institute as on the date of submission of the application and should enclose with their applications Marksheets of SSC, HSC, BE/B.Tech (ALL SEMESTERS AND CONSOLIDATED MARKSHEET COPIES), Degree Certificate, Date of Birth, Experience Certificate duly attested by Gazetted Officer.

On their appointment they will be governed by New Contributory Pension Scheme as notified by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide Notification No.F.No.5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22.12.2003.

All the above advertised posts are classified as Scientific / Technical and their promotions to the next higher grades are governed by the merit promotion scheme existing in the Department of Atomic Energy.

The selected candidates should undergo a medical examination by the Medical Board, Nuclear Fuel Complex and their appointment is subject to their medical fitness to be certified by the Medical Board, NFC. Night/Colour blindness will be a disqualification. The applications should be accompanied by non-refundable crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft Payable at Hyderabad drawn in favour of “Pay & Accounts Officer, NFC, Hyderabad” for Rs.250/-. Women candidates, disabled Defence Service personnel and dependents of Defence Service personnel killed in action and exservice men and physically challenged persons are exempted from payment of application fee. HOW TO APPLY FILL UP ALL COLUMNS OF THE APPLICATION FORM CAREFULLY. 1.

The application in the prescribed format as available on NFC website, preferably typewritten on A4 size paper (30 cms X 21 cms) should be submitted and outer cover should be superscribed “Application for the post of _______________ under Post No.____ against “Advertisement No. NFC/02/2012”. The applications should be addressed to the Assistant Personnel Officer, Recruitment-I, NFC, ECIL Post, Hyderabad 500 062.

Photograph: A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the right top corner of the application. One additional copy of passport size photograph should also be sent along with the application.

Persons working under the Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings should submit their applications through proper channel. They may, however, send one advance copy of the application along with enclosures as detailed above and in that case the candidates have to submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their present employer at the time of appearing for written test/interview or otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for interview. TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE The candidates called for interview from outstation will be paid to and fro rail fare by SECOND CLASS/SLEEPER or actual fare whichever is less.

CANDIDATE APPLYING FOR MORE THAN ONE POST If the Candidates applying for more than one post separate application for each post to be submitted along with Demand Draft of `250/-.

Warning : Application which is illegible, incomplete, unsigned, not in prescribed format, without photo of candidate, not enclosing attested Xerox copy of certificates, which is received after the last date prescribed is liable to be rejected. If the post applied for is not indicated on the top of the envelope & the application, the same will not be entertained.

Short listing: Only such of those candidates who in the opinion of NFC, suit the organisational requirements, will be called for interview. Mere fulfillment of requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. In case the response is more, the screening will be restricted to those with higher percentage of marks and experience wherever prescribed by the Competent Authority in NFC. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and all those having lesser percentage of marks may not be called for interview. No correspondence from the candidates not selected for interview/appointment in this regard will be entertained.

NFC reserves the right to fill up the post or alter the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reasons.
