ORDER In the reference 1st read above Government have sanctioned an amount of Rs.1630.27 crore for taking up Soil Moisture Conservation activities in 3,48,000 acres of SC/ST lands in 4,114 villages in 321 mandals of 22 District in the state. These works are expected to be completed before August 2010. 2. It is brought to the notice of the Government that due to the shortage of wage labour, only 18% of the above works have been started. Since other NREGA works are opened in these villages, labour are not available in adequate numbers for focusing on these works. CEO SERP requested that since completion of the Community Managed Sustainable Agriculture (CMSA) is time bound, steps may be taken to give priority to CMSA works in making available labour. 3. Government after careful consideration of the matter hereby direct Commissioner, Rural Development, A.P., Hyderabad to ensure that wage seekers are mobilized in adequate numbers to complete all CMSA works before August 2010. 4.
