You are so excited! You just bought a fixer-upper for a great price. It even comes with a octagonal hot tub in the backyard. However, there is lots of work to do before you can move in. The bathrooms and kitchen need new inlaid linoleum. The baseboard in all of the rooms needs to be replaced. The bedroom and living room need new carpeting. In addition, all of the walls need to be painted. As for the hot tub, it’s in pretty good shape but the outside needs to be stained and sealed and the inside needs filled up and sanitized to make sure it’s ready for you house warming party! Baseboard molding costs $1.25 per foot to buy and install. The inlaid linoleum costs about $32 per square yard to purchase and install. The walls of the apartment are 9 feet high. The paint you are using covers 450 square feet to the gallon and each gallon costs $23.50. The carpeting will cost $28 per square yard to purchase and install. The water proofing stain and seal you are using for the outside of the hot tub covers 50 square feet to the gallon and each gallon costs $33.95. You will stain and seal the sides, base, and lid of hot tub. 7. You will need .5 teaspoon of chlorine for every 100 gallons of water in your hot tub. The cost of the chlorine is $75 for 25 gallons.
