WIN MENTORING, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND A CHANCE TO SHOW YOUR FILM AT THE 6TH ANNUAL GREEN BAY FILM FESTIVAL The competition is free to enter and open to students enrolled in a Wisconsin elementary, middle or high school. A panel of judges will select ten finalists. Three of the ten finalists will be named the first, second and third place winners of the competition during the 2016 Green Bay Film Festival awards ceremony.

PRIZES The top 10 finalists will receive a special invitation to a mentoring seminar with film industry professionals the weekend prior to the film festival The top 10 finalists will receive two weekend passes to the 2016 Green Bay Film Festival The first, second and third place films will play in a special film screening during the festival’s awards ceremony on Sunday March 6, 2016 The first, second & third place filmmaker will receive a small cash scholarship of $250, $150, $75 respectively.

Students must be enrolled in a Wisconsin elementary, middle or high school during the 20152016 school year Entries must relate to one of the two designated categories: o Superheroes o Scene from an animation movie reinvented as live action

In addition entries must adhere to the following: • Films must be 3 minutes or less and produced for under $100. • Release forms for all persons appearing in films must be submitted with entry form. Submissions that do not include release forms will be disqualified from competition. All music and stock-footage used must be properly licensed. • Provide proof of enrollment in Wisconsin School grades 9th through 12th during the 20152016 academic year. • Must be produced, written, filmed, and edited entirely by students. The subject matter should be school appropriate (no violence or inappropriate language) topics. The maximum length of the film includes any titles and credits.

Entries will be judged using the following criteria: • Expression of creativity • Ability to communicate message or storyline • Technical ability: audio, camera work, lighting, and editing

ALL Future Filmmaker submissions MUST be submitted to the Green Bay Film Festival by URL link to an online version of your film on an external site (i.e. your own website, YouTube HD, Vimeo, etc.). You will be asked to provide that URL as part of your entry application. The deadline for Future Filmmakers Submissions is midnight, January 31st, 2016.
