Constituent Letter of Demand – 71st Assembly District AUDIT OF THE BOOKS AND ACCOUNTS All representatives of the Republican Central Committee of Orange County are subject to and “shall perform the duties imposed on it by law” as stated in the official by-laws of the organization. In order to (1) restore the organization to its by-laws, (2) hold its elected representatives and appointed officer’s accountable, (3) preserve its standing in the community at large, (4) reinvigorate the appeal of the Republican Party in Orange County and (5) create an immediate transparency and sustainable legacy of public participation; The following demand is made upon you, for further demand to be presented by you as follows: STATEMENT OF DEMAND. You shall make written demand of the Treasurer, Mr. Mark Bucher, to cause all books, accounts and financial records to be made available for your review. These are to include: 1) All check registers, 2) All banking records and deposits, 3) All ledgers and journals, 4) All receipts and records related to the finances of the Orange County Central Committee. This demand is to be made by you and upon Mark Bucher within 5 business days of delivery and service of this “Constituent Letter of Demand – 71st Assembly District: AUDIT OF THE BOOKS AND ACCOUNTS”, a copy of which has been recorded, filed and retained by the Orange County Conservative Trust, Board of Directors. Copies may be further provided to appropriate media outlets and interested parties. The authority for your actions is contained in the “BY-LAWS of the REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF ORANGE COUNTY (Amended July 17, 2006)” as referenced hereunder. Article VI, Powers and Duties of Officers “E. Treasurer (5) The Treasurer shall cause a review of the books and accounts to be made by a Certified Public Accountant as of the close of each two year term and shall submit a report of said Review of the Executive Committee as soon as possible thereafter; (6) The Treasurer shall cause all financial records of the Central Committee to be made available during usual business hours for review by any Member of the Central Committee.” NOTICE OF SERVICE & DELIVERY: I the undersigned constituent, being a duly registered and active Republican in the county of Orange and state of California, do hereby deliver upon you as my elected representative to the Republican Central Committee of Orange County, directly by my hand or indirectly through my proxy consent (the person who now delivers and serves upon you for your individual receipt), this letter of demand. I respectfully request that you call or email me when you have made this written demand, likewise I will follow up with you after five (5) business days.
