FLEXIBLE SPENDING Health Care Reimbursement Acct (HCRA) & Dependent Care Reimbursement Acct (DCRA) Our Plan Year is July 1 through June 30. If you are enrolled in the Flexible Spending Acct (FSA) for a plan year and will continue your participation in the next plan year, you have a grace period of 7/1 through 9/15 to incur expenses from the last plan year. Those claims must be post-marked or received to be reimbursed by 12/15. If you terminate before the end of the plan year, you have a 3 month run-out time after your termination date to send claims for reimbursement unless you request to deduct from your last paycheck the remaining balance of the FSA dollars declared for the current plan year. Then you will have a 3 month run-out time from the date of your last paycheck. Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Our plan year is January 1 through December 31. You have a 3 month run-out time (March 30) after the end of the plan year to submit claims for reimbursement. You must have an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) form for each claim you submit. These are available from the current healthcare provider. If you terminate before the end of the plan year, you have a 3 month run-out time from your termination date to send claims for reimbursement.
