Aberhart Film Fest 2016  | General Information

Extra Information:    Meetings  All general Film Fest meeting dates will be emailed in advance. We will be discussing everything from  how Film Fest works, to how to make your film as good as it can be. We will also have workshops where  we invite more experienced members of the filmmaking community to come and provide valuable insight.  All of these events will be held in room 329, either at lunch or right after school.    Sign­Up  We accept films all year, up until the due date which will be set a few weeks before the Gala. We strongly  suggest you start working on your film as soon as possible. When your film is ready, submit it in the form  of a memory stick and be sure to include your film registration form.    Gala  The Gala will be on the 21st of April, 2016. For the week leading up to the gala, we will be showing  all  of  the films in the drama room at lunch time, for free. This will be the time when everyone will have a chance  to see your film! Gala will take place in the gym, and involves a much more large crowd, and will also  require a ticket for everyone who attends. We will only be showing the winning films. So, a bit like The  Oscars, but better!      Films  We accept all kinds of films, except for “Jackass­type” films. This means you can do pretty much anything  you like, as long as it’s under 6 minutes. Be creative, and do everything you can to make your film as  awesome as possible! You are allowed to submit up to 3 films, however please keep in mind that only one  of the three can be selected to win a category.            Website  abefilmfest.wordpress.com      Facebook Page  www.facebook.com/abefilmfest
