The Railway Board vide letter dated 2510612014 mentionedabove had extendedthe para-medical Schemeof engagingcandidatesin categoriesin Group 'C' on contractbasis,the sameis valid upto 30'''June2015. In this connection,NFIR desiresto point out that there has been no change in the situation as the concernedRRBs have still not been able to provide panels of selected candidatesfor lllling vacanciesand the position is not likely to improve in the near future. If the validity of the schemeis not extendedbeyond 3010612016, for continuanceof contract para-medicals1aff,the healthcare systemwill be disrupted,causingall typesof problemsto the staff and Rlll,HS beneficiaries. NIrlR, therefore, urges upon the Railway Board, to kindly arrallge to issue instructions,cxtendingthe schemeat leastupto 3111212017. A copy of instructionsissued may be endorsedto the Federation.
