Lego Olympic City @ Hall

GRADES K-5 WEDNESDAY, FEB 21 • 2:30 - 4 PM Help build the ski slopes, ice rinks, and sliding center of Olympic Park using the library’s collection of more than 5,000 Lego bricks. Earn an Olympic medal for the tallest, fastest, or most realistic build. Registration is not required.

GRADES K-5 SATURDAY, FEB 10 • 2 - 3:30 PM Teach robots to run a race and build simple robots that can compete with each other. The library’s collection of Ozobots and K’nex motors will be available for young people in grades K-5 to experiment with. Let the games begin! Registration is required.

ALL AGES WEDNESDAY, FEB 14 • 3 - 4:30 PM Drop into Oak Lawn on Valentine’s Day for the perfect match- hot chocolate and cookies! Registration is not required.

Edible Olympic Drop-in Craft @ Knightsville

ALL AGES TUESDAY, FEB 20 • 11 AM - 6 PM Celebrate the Winter Olympics by dropping in to Knightsville to make a fun edible craft! All ages are welcome. All materials provided. Registration is not required.

GRADES 6-12 WEDNESDAY, FEB 21 • 2:30 4 PM Play practice games and then a round robin tournament for Olympic gold! Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to first, second and third place finishers. Refreshments will be served. Registration is recommended but not required.

GRADES K-5 THURSDAY, FEB 22 • 2:30 - 3:30 PM Join us for a crafternoon sculpting this year’s Olympic mascot, Soohorang, out of clay. We will be using air dry material to make our own Soohorangs, snow tigers. Registration is recommended but not required.
