Happy Friday from the Cottonwood PTA! Cottonwood PTA awards a scholarship to a former Cottonwood student each year. This year we have received ten scholarship applications and the scholarship committee is looking forward to selecting a recipient. It is so encouraging to read through the applications and see all that these Cottonwood students have accomplished! It has shown us that Cottonwood is truly a great school, with the best teachers, and our children are headed down a great path! You may have heard your student talk about the Square 1 Art project. This is an art project that each class completes in each year. The teacher selects a theme and, after completing the artwork, each student receives a catalog with keepsake items featuring their artwork. In addition to being a great project for art curriculum, this serves as a fundraiser for our students. You will receive your catalog toward the end of February, so keep an eye out for it!
