Our Cloister Doors: At any time you may have access to The Cloister for prayer and reflection. Please call the parish office or ask a parish staff member for the after hours access code to the doors. Seekers Group Is Meeting: Do you have questions about the Catholic Faith? Know someone who does, and may not yet be ready for the RCIA process? Our parish Seekers Group may be just right for you! The Seekers Group is an informal gathering for discussion of what it means to be Catholic. Please call the parish office at 337-1538 for more information. Please join us and invite a friend! C.H.A.O.S. – Where in the world but in America! : It’s almost time!  The 2017 St. Patrick’s Day Show is right around the corner!  Sponsored by the St. Patrick’s Knights of Columbus, St. Patrick’s Day is a great time to get together with friends and enjoy a great dinner and musical play.  We have a show for the family if you can’t make the dinner show.  The Family Show is Friday, March 10, and begins at 7 PM.  There’s popcorn and snacks, and the cost is a goodwill offering.  A great time to bring the family!  The really BIG Show is Friday, March 17.  Doors open at 6 PM, with dinner service beginning at 6:30 PM.  Tickets are $20 each and include a great St. Patrick’s Day dinner prepared by the Knights of Columbus.  Beginning next weekend you can buy tickets all the Masses.  You can also buy tickets NOW at the parish office, or from any cast member. Adult Confirmation Class:   If you are an active adult Catholic who has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, Deacon Mick will be presenting a six week course to prepare you to receive this sacrament at the Easter Vigil.   The six week series of classes will begin on Sunday,   March 5, and run for the following five Sundays after the 5:00pm Mass from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.  If you are interested, please call the Parish Office to pre-register. Parents - planning on attending Deacon Glenn Harmon’s Parish Mission March 13th - 15th? We would like to offer childcare during the mission time. If you would like to have childcare while attending the mission please email [email protected] or sign up on the table in the foyer noting the number of children for childcare and their ages. Adult Faith Formation: Come join us during Lent as we rediscover an old form of prayer and Scripture reading called Lectio Divina. On the Sundays of Lent we will be meeting in the Chapel, right after Food Fellowship— between the 8:30 am and 11:30 am Masses. We will be learning to pray the Scriptures using Lectio Divina—a time honored Catholic practice. Join us on Sunday, March 5th, and for the following Sundays of Lent. Bring your own Bible, or use one of ours. Call John Ostrom (907.244.1260) or John Streit (907.30.1722) if you have any questions. Black and Indian Mission Special Collection: Last

weekend's collection in support of Black and Indian Missions (BIM), totaled $4,239.50. Founded in 1874, BIM continues its work of ensuring Native peoples and African Americans have a strong presence within the Church while also insisting on respect for marginalized ethnic groups across the wider culture. BIM also provides significant support for the Archdiocese’s work with Alaska Native communities. If you missed last weekend's special collection, please place your donation in this weekend's regular collection and mark it "Black and Indian Missions." Thank you! Encounter Lent: Join our faith community—and nearly 14,000 Catholic communities across the United States—in a life-changing Lenten journey of encounter with CRS Rice Bowl. Pick up your family’s CRS Rice Bowl from the gathering area after Mass today, and don’t forget to download the CRS Rice Bowl app! May these 40 days better prepare us to encounter ourselves, our neighbors and our God. Assistance for Fire Victims: Last week's fire at the Royal Suites Lodge took the lives of two residents and injured several others. Many others lost all their belongings in the fire. If you would like to help, a link to a specific list of items needed for affected families is available at the Archdioces's website: www.archdioceseofanchorage.org. The drop off location for donated items is St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Please join in our local Church's effort to help our neighbors in need. Magnificat Lenten Companions: Our parish is providing free copies of this year's Magnificat Lenten Companions. These booklets are designed in a convenient, easy-to-use format. They include inspiring reflections from some of the most gifted Catholic writers for each day, faith-filled essays, prayers, poetry, and devotions, meditations for the Way of the Cross, and a treasury of spiritual insights. They are available on the table in the gathering area. (One per family please.) Handicapped Access for Church Door: Thank you to all who have donated to make our church building handicapped accessible! We have reached and exceeded our goal of $10,000 for the purchase and installation of an automatic door opener for our church. We hope to begin work on the project this Spring. Thank you to all who have helped in this worthy cause!
