APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: A motion was made, seconded and carried to approve the October 16, 2015 minutes as written.

Joe Neguse, DORA Executive Director, was not available to meet with the Board but will be in attendance at the next scheduled meeting.

Deputy Director Dino Ioannides has taken a new position with the Colorado Independent Ethics Commission.
REVIEW OF BOARD BUSINESS: Annual Designation of Board Meeting Notices A motion was made, seconded and carried to designate the reception area of the Division of Professions and Occupations, Suite 1350 of 1560 Broadway, Denver, Colorado. Introduction of Saul Larsen - Sunset Analyst with the Office of Policy, Research and Regulatory Reform Saul Larsen, Sunset Analyst with the Office of Policy, Research and Regulatory Reform, was introduced to the Board and spent time familiarizing Board members with the Sunset process and responded to questions. Complaint – 2015-4227 – JB McCarthy, Unlicensed This complaint alleged Mr. McCarthy practiced landscape architecture without the supervision of a licensed Colorado Landscape Architect, as defined in Board Rule 2.2. Mr. McCarthy responded. Dennis Rubba recused himself and left the room during the discussion and vote. After discussion, a motion was made, seconded and carried to dismiss this complaint for lack of apparent license law violation.

GENERAL BUSINESS: Discussion Regarding CLARB Related Issues Dean Pearson gave a summary of CLARB issues including the Region 4 CLARB Webcast; outreach to students at the University of Colorado at Denver and Colorado State University; the Examination Writing Committee meeting; and CLARB’s Examination Task Analysis that included the development of a questionnaire to be sent to licensees.
