Church Family Lunch and Easter Egg Hunt Our annual Easter lunch and egg hunt is scheduled for Sunday, March 11, at 12:30PM. This event encourages people from all four worship services to come together in celebration of the Easter season. Everyone is invited to enjoy a catered meal at the Belle House (380 Westside Rd) following the 11:00AM worship services that morning. Please save the date, and plan to bring a favorite dessert! Children age 11 and under are invited to hunt Easter eggs outdoors, following lunch. We typically gather on Palm Sunday, but due to the availability of a desired venue close to the church, we scheduled this event a little earlier this year. So, in joyful anticipation, we invite you to join us on March 11 for this gathering for all ages. There is much to celebrate! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3). - Sarah Akins Director Children Ministries The Brevity of Life and Our Future Hope This past week has been marked by two significant events. On Valentine’s Day, students in Florida began another routine day of school. For a few, it would be their last day on this earth. As we continue to pray for the families of those killed as well as the survivors who are dealing with grief and anger, we all need to be prepared to live as if today was our last day on earth. On February 21, at the age of 99, Billy Graham lived his last day on this earth. Many years ago, he was quoted as saying, “One day you will read in the newspaper that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it! I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address.” With Jesus Christ as our Savior, we can face an uncertain future with a glorious hope! - Pastor Jimmy
