ACTS Hog Raffle Tickets: For the past couple of years Sacred Heart in Wasilla has been missioning our parish in starting up our own ACTS Retreats. As a way of gratitude and support, tickets for Sacred Heart’s annual ACTS Hog Raffle will be sold in the gathering area after each Mass this weekend. The first two winners will receive a locally grown packaged half-hog (approx. 120-130lbs), and the second two winners will each receive a Butterball turkey. The price is $10 a ticket or 6 tickets for $50. Drawing will be held Tuesday, February 14th, at Sacred Heart Parish in Wasilla, but winners need not be present to win. Proceeds to benefit Sacred Heart and St. Patrick’s ACTS Retreats.
Young Adults Group: This Monday, February 13th, we’ll have Adoration and Reconciliation with Fr. Scott in the chapel at 7PM. Next Monday, February 20th, we’ll talk about prayer and continue our discussion on forming an apostolic community together! If you’d like to receive weekly email updates, please contact John Barrientes. Remember to follow us on Facebook! Our Cloister Doors: At any time you may have access to The Cloister for prayer and reflection. Please call the parish office or ask a parish staff member for the after hours access code to the doors. Seekers Group Is Meeting: Do you have questions about the Catholic Faith? Know someone who does, and may not yet be ready for the RCIA process? Our parish Seekers Group may be just right for you! The Seekers Group is an informal gathering for discussion of what it means to be Catholic. Please call the parish office at 337-1538 for more information. Please join us and invite a friend!
Mass with Anointing of the Sick: This Sunday, February 12th, we will offer the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at the 5pm Mass. All who are ill or elderly are invited to join us at Sunday's 5pm Mass to receive this special Sacrament of healing and strength.
Black and Indian Mission Special Collection: Next weekend we will hold a special collection in support of the Black and Indian Mission (BIM), one of the oldest mission organizations in the United States. Since 1884, BIM continues its work supporting and strengthening evangelization programs, which would otherwise be in danger of disappearing, among the Black, American Indian, Eskimo, and Aleut communities of the United States. BIM also provides significant support for our Archdiocese’s work with Alaska Native communities. Please consider prayerfully contributing to this collection. Handicapped Access for Church Door: Thank you to all
who have donated to make our church building handicapped accessible! We have reached and exceeded our goal of $10,000 for the purchase and installation of an automatic door opener for our church. We hope to begin work on the project this Spring. Thank you to all who have helped in this worthy cause!
C.H.A.O.S. – Save the Date: The 2017 St. Patrick's Day
Show is right around the corner! Sponsored by the St. Patrick’s Knights of Columbus, the St. Patrick's Day Show is a great time to get together with friends and enjoy a great dinner and musical play. We have a show for the family if you can’t make the dinner show. The Family Show is Friday, March 10, and begins at 7 PM. There’s popcorn and snacks and the cost is a goodwill offering. A great time to bring the family! The really BIG Show is on St. Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17. Doors open at 6 PM, with dinner service beginning at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $20 each and include a great Irish dinner prepared by the Knights of Columbus. We need lots of help! Rehearsals for this year's show have begun -- on Sundays from 2 to 4pm, and on Wednesdays from 7 to 9pm, all in the Deacons Hall. It’s always fun; an adventure for everyone! For more information please contact Barbara Mulac at 333-4867 or

If you are interested, please call the Parish Office to preregister.
Prayer For the Safety of our Military:Almighty and eternal God, those who take refuge in you will be glad and forever will shout for joy. Protect our military men and women as they discharge their duties. Protect them with the shield of your strength and keep them safe from evil and harm. May the power of your love and protection enable them to return home in safety, that with all who love them, they may ever praise you for your love care.
