February Newsletter

January 30-February 3 “We follow the rules when we play” February 6-10 “We do our own work.” February 13-17 “We tell the truth.” February 20-24 “We are responsible for what we say and do.” February 27– March 3 “We are quiet in the hallway.”

You may have noticed an addition to our front yard. On January 6th a bench was unveiled commemorating the life of Dr. Wade Hudgens. Dr. Hudgens was the driving force behind Creal Springs getting a new school. Creal Springs School, students and families were very special to him.

Kindergarten will be celebrating their 100th day of school on February 3rd. Happy 100th day Kindergarten!

Dr. Hudgens always said, “People are more important than things.” Mrs. Hudgens said that even though he worked really hard to help get the new school built in Creal, he also knew it isn’t the building that makes a great school but the students and staff members inside it.

2nd Graders won the Box Tops for Education Contest, so they won a pizza party!!

Reminder Any cans that you bring to be recycled will greatly benefit our athletics. We are happy to say 100% of that money goes to our Athletic Fund! Also, anyone may use our recycling bin for paper, cardboard, and plastic.
