European Research Days in ASEAN: Workshops on Effective Proposal Preparation for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). 18-25 November, 2016. These one-day workshops in Jakarta on 18 November, Singapore on 21 November, Kuala Lumpur on 23 November, and Bangkok on 24 November will provide detailed information on how to be successful in preparing proposals for the MSCA Individual Fellowships and the MSCA Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE). Europe: MSCA Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) Call. ASEAN Researchers and Research Staff Eligible. Call Opens on 1 December, 2016 MSCA-RISE aims at international and inter-sector collaboration through promoting research and innovation exchanges of staff. MSCA-RISE will support short-term mobility of research and innovation staff at all career levels, from the most junior (post-graduate) to the most senior (management), including administrative and technical staff. Ireland: Call for proposals for EDGE MSCA COFUND Fellowships in ICT and Materials. Deadline 1 December, 2016 EDGE is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND Action, led by Trinity College Dublin on behalf of 10 Irish academic institutions of excellence. EDGE will award 24 and 36 month Fellowships to 71 high-calibre post-doctoral researchers, who will relocate to Ireland to join expert supervisors in the ICT and Materials field. Spain: 24 Postdoctoral fellowships in Food, Health, Smart and Sustainable Cities, Cultural Heritage and Materials & Energy. ASEAN researchers eligible. Deadline 9 December, 2016 The P-SPHERE second call will recruit 24 experienced researchers. This project is funded by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions. Fellows will conduct their research at the UAB-CIE Sphere, the excellence-driven cluster centred on the UAB campus. Postdoctoral researchers will be able to propose their own projects based on the lines of research of one of the participating centres. Details here.
ASEAN: EU SHARE Scholarhships - fully funded one semester exchange for undergraduates in ASEAN. Deadline 11 November, 2016 The SHARE scholarship programme offers a fully-funded, one semester exchange for undergraduate students from selected universities across the ASEAN region. EPNuffic will also facilitate capacity-building workshop for universities that are willing to enhance their internationalisation process, student mobility and the use of the new credit transfer systems. ASEA UNI NET: Connecting Europe and Southeast Asia The ASEAN European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) is a network of universities, consisting of European and South-East Asian universities with the goal of promoting the continuous internationalisation of education and research. ASEAUNINET was founded in 1994 by universities from Austria, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam as Austrian-South-East Asian University Network and consists today of more than 80 universities from 19 different countries. France: Institut Pasteur – Paris University International Doctoral Programme. Deadline 14 November, 2016 Open to applicants holding a Master degree in science, medicine or related fields from a non-French university and who are fluent in English. The stipend covers the successful students' living expenses and health insurance during the duration of the contract (three years). Students conduct their research in one of the 120 laboratories of the Institut Pasteur. More information here.
Germany: Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers. ASEAN Researchers Eligible. Applications accepted year-round. A Humboldt Research Fellowship for postdoctoral researchers allows you to carry out long-term research (6-24 months) in Germany. Applicants choose their own topic of research and their academic host. Scientists and scholars of all nationalities and disciplines may apply to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation online at any time. The Humboldt Foundation grants approximately 500 Humboldt Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers and experienced researchers annually. Application details here.
