When we turn on a light, we don’t look at the light, and we don’t stare at salt when we put it on our food. Salt and light are meant to enhance and compliment other things. In the same way, we are called to help each other with the gifts God has given us…our vocation is to serve. February 12 - Peter’s Pence - This is the charity which helps the Pope give charitable aid to people suffering from natural disasters throughout the world.
