You’ve been promoted to supervisor ... congratulations! Now what? Do you have the skills to effectively manage your new role and the myriad of new responsibilities? Any effective supervisor/leader will tell you that it takes years to learn the art of leadership and supervision. This acclaimed 16 hour workshop has been presented to emergency services providers across the country and at many national conferences, such as EMS Today. It is designed to shorten the leadership learning curve and give you the tools you need to ease the often painful transition into leadership. Day #1 - 8 Hours - Making the transition from buddy to boss - Learning to lead - Ethical boundaries - Analyzing studies in supervision - Case studies in supervision
Day #2 - 8 Hours - Coaching, counseling, and corrective action - Progressive discipline - Communication and role playing - Case studies in supervision
Registration is limited to 30 attendees. Early registration is highly recommended. Early registration fee received before May 14, 2015 = $260.00 (Checks only accepted) Registration fee received on or after May 14, 2015 = $275.00 (Checks only accepted) This course qualifies for NREMT Category7, 2 CME Credits and a certificate is provided upon course completion. Registration fee includes all course materials, continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and Completion Certificate.
