Dear Families, We will begin a unit of study around gingerbread in December. We will read different versions of The Gingerbread Man, research gingerbread houses, complete gingerbread art activities and more! To culminate our work, we will make gingerbread houses to share during our Winter Open House on Friday, Dec. 9. I am asking for your help to make our gingerbread houses a success! Please use the following link to sign-up to help with our house decorating! Please send in your materials on or before Wednesday, Dec. 7 (graham crackers need to be sent in by Monday, Dec. 5).

And, please don’t forget about our Holiday Open House Friday, Dec. 9th. Our program begins at 1:25 pm in the gym. Please arrive EARLY as you will need time to park and get to the gym (in the past there have been large numbers in attendance so you may have to park far away and walk). The program begins promptly at 1:25 and does not last long with kindergartners. We will then move to the classroom for our Open House until 2:05 pm (during which we will share our gingerbread houses). Also, book orders are due on Sunday, Dec. 4. If you order books for a gift, just let me know and I can hold them back and give them to you, rather than your child.
