Earth Week Photo Contest 2016 Waiver By submitting photos to the Earth Week Photo Contest, entrants are agreeing to grant the Office of Sustainability at Occidental College the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to use, re-use, publish, and re-publish the photographs in displays related to the contest; in sustainability-related printed and electronic publications and in conjunction with any copyrighted matter, in any and all media now or hereafter known for illustration, promotion, art, advertising and trade, news, informational and educational purposes and to copyright the same, under its original name or otherwise. The student thereby releases and discharges the College from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photos, including without limitation any and all claims for invasion of privacy.
Publication Release Authorization By submitting photos to the Earth Week Photo Contest, you agree to the following stipulations. FOR USE WITH ONLINE AUDIO, VIDEO, WEBCASTS, POCASTS, WEB, NEW MEDIA + DESIGN OFFICE I hereby grant to Occidental College, its agents, designees, and/or employees permission to photograph, film, videotape, record, capture and/or publish my name, voice, portrayal, actions, and/or likeness in connection with this publication. I understand that any portion of this publication and my likeness may be used and/or incorporated into other publications, including, but not limited to advertising, recruitment, printed materials, televised programs, online media, and/or public exhibitions. Any copyrights arising out of this online publication shall remain the sole property of Occidental College or its designee. I waive my rights to any and all claims for payment in connection with this publication and the aforementioned use of my likeness. I represent and warrant that I have the right and/or am fully authorized to grant the aforementioned rights without obtaining the permission of, or making payments to any third party and/or entity. This release is governed by the laws of the State of California applicable to contracts wholly negotiated, executed, and performed therein.
