The draft report of the committee for review of IT cadre receivedfrom the Railway Board is underexamination. In this connection,NFIR desiresto state that the distribution of posts at of ratio among SE(IT) and 67 z 33 basisin GP 4600 and 4200respectivelymay be approvedby the Railway Board as recommended by the Committee vide Item No. 1 (v) of gist of recommendations.The acceptanceof this recommendationneed not be linked with other recommendationsas of now in view of the fact that the cadre restructuringwas grantedto variousGroup 'C' cadresw.e.f. 0111112013 by the Railway Board whereasthe IT cadre's caseis yet to be finalised. NFIR. therefore,urgesupon the Railway Board to issueordersfor distribution of the existingpostsof at the ratioof 67 :33 (in GP 4600& 4200respectivelV)Jl" November2013.

On the remaining recommendationsof EDs' Committee, ; Federation will separatelyconvey its response.The Federationat the sametime requeststo arrangea separate meetingbetweenthe Fedqrationand Board for discussingthe recommendationsin detail.
