DR. CHARLES BEST  AFTER GRAD 2011    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:    HOW MUCH ARE THE TICKETS? 

Tickets prices are not yet determined and are subject to how much money is raised. In past years the  tickets have sold for $35‐45, but you can help keep the costs down by contributing your time, energy  and donations to AFTER GRAD. No Grad will be turned away for being unable to afford a ticket; please  contact the school’s office for more info.     WHAT DO THE TICKETS INCLUDE? 

Everything! One ticket buys a Grad a full night of AFTER GRAD fun, food and fantastic prizes to enjoy with  their friends.     WHEN ARE THE AFTER GRAD MEETINGS? 

They’re held once a month until May and then more often as needed until the event itself. All meetings  are held at 7pm in the school Library. We realize not everyone can attend every meeting but your  presence at those you can make is very much appreciated. Scheduled meetings are:     Tuesday, February 22nd   Wednesday, March 16th   Tuesday, April 19th     WHO CAN ATTEND THE MEETINGS? 

Anyone who wants to participate! Grade 12 students, their parents, friends, family, other Dr. Charles  Best students – the more the merrier!    HOW MUCH ARE WE FUNDRAISING?

  To assist with a specific event or task, please contact the chair of that fundraiser directly. If you’re  unsure who that is, contact the AFTER GRAD chair Andrea Joyce at [email protected] and she’ll  connect you. If you can no longer do what you’ve offered to do, please contact Andrea so she can find  a replacement.    We’re counting on the Grads to help facilitate these fundraisers so we can make the most of them.  STUDENTS WHO SELL THE MOST FLOWER BASKETS, PUB NIGHT OR RAFFLE TICKETS WILL WIN A FREE AFTER GRAD  TICKET!     PRIZES/DONATIONS:  The AFTER GRAD event is entirely funded through the generosity of large and small businesses and 

individual donors and every bit helps! Use your Airmiles, Zellers or Save On points to purchase a gift or  gift certificate. Ask your boss, friends or family to donate money or a gift. Got a bunch of stuff for  Christmas you’ll never use? Re‐gift it to us! If it’s new and in great condition we can use it in a gift  basket, raffle it off at a Pub Night, or use it as a prize for the Grads. We also accept bottles of wine or  other alcohol. You can also use your connections to get us a fantastic deal on a prize or something that
