Payette Powder Guides Lick Creek Summit Yurts - Private Rental Agreement I, _________________________________, will act as the designated Trip Leader (TL), for the private rental of the Lick Creek Summit Yurts, for the nights of ______________________________. As TL I state that I have taken a Level 1 Avalanche class or PPG approved equivalent Date_______________ Place_________________ Provider_____________________ I will make sure everyone in the group carries a beacon, probe and shovel; and I will check beacons at the trailhead to make sure that they receive/transmit a signal, and that they are in transmit mode while traveling to/from the yurts. As TL I state that, ___________________________, a member of our group has had First Aid/ CPR Training and that our group will provide our own medical supplies/first aid kit and that we will be responsible for our own rescue. As TL I state that I am familiar with the terrain in the Lake Fork Creek Drainage/ Lick Creek Summit area and that I am familiar with the location and operation of the Lick Creek Summit Yurts. I have read the ‘Yurt User’s Guide’ and will oversee the use of the yurt facilities in the best interests of all users. As TL I agree to reimburse PPG for any damages caused by our group to the yurts/sauna/ outhouse or any other fixtures such as BBQ/stove /lanterns/chairs etc. All self catered groups will be required to attend a Pre Trip Meeting to go through conditions of the road, yurt and avalanche hazard. For any group with a completed waivers, participant information and yurt rental agreement, the meeting can be held over the phone. If your group decides to provide its own transportation the TL will be the party responsible for maintaining group integrity and installing good travel protocols while traveling in and out of the canyon. By deciding to provide your own transportation, you acknowledge the difficulty of traveling in a hazardous winter environment on an un-maintained forest road and have the skills/knowledge and tools to mitigate avalanche hazard, haul people and gear over the snow, navigate in winter conditions. All parties should be able to clear downed trees in case a heavy wind event blocks the road. Access is not guaranteed, no refunds. For those groups that overlap with another.
