Alana Bruce ~ can stand and seems to be catching up to age markers. Continue to pray for healing. Sue Bruce ~ Since Thanksgiving, she has been having more and more trouble with her MS. Jan. 4 she began having vision loss in her left eye; multiple physicians see nothing wrong internally. Next step, Neuro-ophthalmologist at Vanderbilt. God is in control. Pray for her to graciously accept His Will. Donnelly Family ~ as Tom's mother passed away on Jan 22. Remember them in prayer during this difficult time. Odell Family ~ Leona is home and visitors are welcome. Much appreciation to all who have offered help, sent food, flowers and other expressions of love. Evening Anthem Vespers ~ is presenting a special "Hymn Sing" this evening, Feb 10, at 6 pm. Pegi Flynt and Mary King will lead out as we sing great hymns of our faith to close the Sabbath. Come to Chattanooga First Church for this special time of celebration! Fisk Jubilee Singers in Concert ~ SAU welcomes the Fisk Jubilee Singers for a concert tonight, Feb 10, 6 pm in the Collegedale Church. The group began touring in 1871, representing the first American university to offer a liberal arts education to students regardless of color. The two-time GRAMMY-nominated Fisk Jubilee Singers have won a Dove Award and have been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame as well as the Music City Walk of Fame. SAU School of Music ~ presents its annual Pops Concert – “Happy Birthday, Lenny” – tonight at 8 pm in Ackerman Auditorium. A centenary salute to composer, conductor and author Leonard Bernstein, the concert features music from his greatest Broadway musicals, performed by the Wind Symphony, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and vocalist Savannah Brown.
