E-Cell, IIT Bombay – An Introduction The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay (E-Cell) firmly believes that emerging economies like India need the drive and innovation of young entrepreneurs. Founded in 2000, E-Cell not only motivates the youth toward entrepreneurship but also makes efforts to provide them with the necessary resources to do so. In order to achieve our vision of promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth, E-Cell has conceptualized initiatives for college students as well as young entrepreneurs and working professionals, leading to more than 40 successful startups. E-Cell, IIT Bombay has been recognized as the Leading Entrepreneurship Promoting Student Organization in the country by the “National Entrepreneurship Network Achievement Awards” instituted by the Wadhwani Foundation and was felicitated at TiECon 2005. Eureka! Organized by E-Cell, has been acclaimed as “Asia’s largest Business Plan Competition” by Thomson Reuters in 2010.

Eureka! - Highlights  In 2010, Thomson Reuters, world’s reputed news agency declared Eureka! as “Asia’s Largest Business Plan Competition .”  Eureka 2011 Collaborated with BASES (Business Association Of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students), Stanford University, sending its winners to the finals of E-Bootcamp in Silicon Valley.  Eureka!, already in its 14th edition has been the starting step for more than 40 start-ups.  Eureka! 2012 witnessed participation from over 5200 business teams.

 Plans can be submitted online for Mentoring, Funding, Incubation, and Team Building thus helping budding entrepreneurs individually.

 The winners walk away with prizes worth over ` 40 Lakhs.

Illuminate!: Pre-Eureka Workshops in Top Colleges  Eureka! workshops will be held in 25 different cities and across 40 top colleges in India  These workshops will be conducted by experts and real entrepreneurs in association with Nurture Talent Academy- India’s 1st Institute for Entrepreneurs.  The aim of the workshops is to create awareness about the intricacies related to entrepreneurship, writing a B-Plan, Marketing and finance  The workshop will go a long way in encouraging your students to participate in Eureka! and get a chance to go to IIT Bombay

Nurture Talent Academy Nurture Talent Academy, India’s 1st Institute for Entrepreneurs was founded by Amit Grover,

IIT-IIM Alumnus and co-founder Ishank Joshi from their sheer passion towards entrepreneurship. It conducts training and mentoring programs which are highly interactive, with games, contests, teamwork and planning exercises suitable for engineering, MBA, undergraduates etc. Nurture Talent Academy has conducted 300+ programs across 100+ cities since inception in 2010 which have been attended by more than 20000+ startups, professionals, entrepreneurs and students. Each program covers fundamentals of the aspect of entrepreneurship and guides the participants towards taking the next step in their pursuit to entrepreneurship.

The rewarding part is over 90% satisfaction score for each of the program. It has in the past worked with entrepreneurship cells and business plan contests of IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur among others.

Requirements, Schedule & Fees            

Confirmation letter signed by Principal/Director/HOD Good Quality public address system. Seminar hall for 1 day with seating capacity of 150+ students of your college. Pick and Drop facility from nearest railway station/bus stop/airport for the speaker. Stay and food arrangements at the college guest house or nearest hotel for expert/trainer. College to provide 5 student coordinators and one staff to manage the event in your college. 50 posters will be send by Nurture Talent Academy for publicity in your college. Your college can select any dates for the workshop b/w 25th August - 30th Sept 2013. Dates should be discussed in prior with the NTA team members. 1 Day Pre eureka workshop, 7-8 hours of session from 9 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour break Workshop fee is Rs. 650 only per student (inclusive of service tax). Fees includes training, certification and startup-kit with CD NTA will bear expenses for trainer’s outstation travel, poster printing and study kits
