Karimnagar is a city and Municipal Corporation in the state of Telangana. It is situated on the banks of the Manair River, a tributary of the Godavari River, 162 kilometers north of Hyderabad. Karimnagar is a prominent agricultural center in the state. Many large scale companies like NTPC, Kesoram Cements, Singareni Collieries etc. are located in and around Karimnagar. It has many historical monuments including the Clock Tower, the Kaman Circle, and the Elgandal Fort, which is 12 km away from the town of Karimnagar. Places of tourist interest around the town include Ujwala Park, Lower Manair Reservoir, Rajeev Deer Park. Holy places like Vemulawada, Dharmapuri, Kotilingala, Kaleshwaram, KondaGattu, etc. are present in Karimnagar district. The locals specialise in Silver Filigree, a delicate form of metal work. Sakinalu and Sarvapindi are very famous among the many traditional snacks made in Karimnagar. Karimnagar district is known for its popular Tan Brown and Maple Red varieties of granite. The granite from Karimnagar district in general and Odyaram village in particular was used extensively by China during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. It is a major business center in the Telangana region and emerging as a major educational hub. Karimnagar is well connected to Warangal, Nizamabad , Medak, Hydearabad and other parts of the state by road. Nearest airport is at Hyderabad (160 km). „Sree Chaitanya Educational Institutions‟, sponsored by Takshasila Educational Society, are located amidst lush greens and inspiring environs very adjacent to the tank bund or Manair Reservoir. Serene ambience is always congenial to academic learning and explore creative potential to the fullest. The institutions are marching towards academic excellence imparting quality education by offering various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. viz., professional courses in the area of Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences and Pharmacy. Department of Business Management at Sree Chaitanya is always committed towards betterment of the society in producing qualified professionals and most importantly Entrepreneurs. Apart from class room learning, many unique co-curricular and extracurricular activities, the department for the first time in Karimnagar has conducted A National Conference named Sankalp in the year of 2014 to provide a platform to share the learning and experiences of academicians, researchers, industry experts and entrepreneurs. The immense success of the conference and the gratification of participant academicians /researchers/institutions, pleased us to introduce SANKALP‟15 “ 2 nd National Conference on Management Practices in Emerging Economies”. The present conference helps in bringing out the various research works on strategies that are being identified, developed, validated, and suggested to meet the changing needs of emerging economies.

This Conference intends to bring the academicians, researchers, professionals and practicing managers to come together and be catalytic for the dissemination of knowledge & exposure on new endeavors and horizons made in meeting the management challenges in the Transforming Scenario. The seminar is also open for postgraduate students (pursuing) to present their views and ideas in the form of participation.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION: The abstract of the paper should be about 150-200 words, typed in Times New Roman with font size 12, clearly mentioning Name(s) of the Author(s), Title of Paper, Affiliated Organization/Institution, Contact number and Email-ID of Author(s). Full paper may have about 2500 words. Papers must be typed clearly in the above format on A4 size paper with 1.5 line spacing with 1” margin on all the sides.
