1. The Bureau of Curriculum Development (BCD), in pattnership with the Goethe-Institute Philippinen, has been Implementing the Special PI'ogram In Foreign Language (SPFL) German since 2010 in nine (9) implementing schools ln the National Capital Region (NCR). This program aims to prepare students for higher education and employment by developing the learners' competence ln a second foreign language and ability to engage in meaningful interaction in a linguistically and culturally diverse global workplace. 2.

Regional and Oivisiqn .SPFL Coordinators are ·qire.cted to closely monitor the atten:da:nce and progress of the teachers in the training, ihduding the follow-through training course which will commence in ,June 2017 and end in March 2 018. ·
