Short describing about of the Augmented Reality This programs complex is divided on two parts: the library of the objects of the Augmented Reality (AR, OAR) and the launcher of the Augmented Reality. For launching of each part there are icons on Desktop and in My Program Folder. Icons on Desktop have the next view:

Using of this programs complex includes selection of the object of the AR in the library and launching of the Augmented Reality. Program of the library is created on Qt framework software. The initial state of it has the next view:

The window is divided on two parts: the left panel is the panel of the tree view database for storing objects of the AR and the right panel for storing of the chosen objects. When mouse pointer is hovering over element of tree view it is highlighted green color:

When mouse pointer chooses element of tree view it is highlighted red color and some buttons have become accessible:

After double clicking on the chosen folder the name of it can be edited:

After choosing of the folder the next buttons have become accessible:

Load objects of the OAR into chosen folder:

Create subfolder into chosen folder: Dialog of the loading of the objects of the AR (file extension is “.odr” ) has the next view:

The button of deleting of the folder is activated when subfolder is chosen (except is root folder):

When the amount of objects and folders is more then the tree view can show, the vertical scroll will be shown:

Two buttons are activated when icon of object AR is selected: deleting object and preview 3D scene:

After clicking on the button of the preview the next dialog is shown:

After choosing of the scene for previewing the 3D scene will be shown:

The icon of the object of AR can be dragged and dropped into the any folder of the tree view:

The icon of the object of AR can be dragged and dropped into right panel of the chosen objects:

After dropping the icon of the object of the AR into right panel it appeared as object with picture of the marker:

and buttons of the management of the list of the chosen objects are activated:

The number of the accessible amount of markers for activation is count down. Button “Clear” clears right panel and sets the number of the accessible amount of markers for activation into 9, and buttons “Clear” and “Activate markers” have become deactivated. Button “Activate markers” activates chosen objects in the right panel and sign of state marker is changed from the deactivate state: into the activate state:

Markers in the right panel can be moved in it by selecting left button of mouse and dragging. Each marker in the right panel has context menu which can be shown by clicking right button of mouse. Context menu has four commands: print marker, save image of the marker into .png file, show scene and delete marker.

The first command allows printing the chosen marker on the paper for using with Augmented Reality. The second command allows save image of the chosen marker into the image file with extension “.png”. The third command allows previewing 3D scene which is linked with the chosen marker. The fourth command deletes the chosen marker from the right panel.

The searching of the needed object of the AR can be executed by typing of the name of it into search box.

If there are the objects with the name, which is typed into search box, then they will be shown into the tree view:

If there is not any object with the name, which is typed into search box, then all folders into tree view are collapsed into the root folder:

After selecting of the object of the AR into the left tree view, dragging and dropping it into the right panel, printing marker and activating it, the argument reality can be launched. After selection of the objects of the AR and activation markers the program of “The Augmented Reality” can be launched from Desktop or Main Programs. At the first launching of the Augmented Reality, it needs to choose a web camera from the list of the web cameras, which are accessible in the current system. If there is not any suitable web camera then the button of “Start the program of the Augmented Reality” is deactivated and The Augmented Reality cannot be launched. Panel “Resolution of screen of the viewing” allows to choose a suitable resolution of screen.

After starting of the program it is possible to control of quality video and camera by panel of control on the bottom of screen:

Scene will be shown after entering of marker before web camera

On the right side of screen there is control panel, which allows scale scene and exit from program.

The information about scene can be shown by pressing key “F1”.

Video, which is linked with the scene, will be played by pressing key “Q” This programs complex uses Qt framework, Open Scene Graph and many others open source code.
