FAQ for your Trip Who can apply for this funding scheme? Funding is for school staff at any public (government funded) school in the EU. What are course contents? Young learning, innovative teaching methods, teaching of foreign languages, cultural exchange, networking with foreign teachers, creative writing and CLIL – Content Integrated Learning How long do the courses last? One course module usually lasts for 2 weeks. 2 weeks is also our recommended course duration. Funded courses can be done from 1-8 weeks. Can I apply for a longer course duration? Courses are funded up to 8 weeks. What are course dates and locations? Courses take place in summer 2016 and 2017. Please register your interest with this application form or via our online form on www.travelEdventures.com We will immediately send you all information you need to successfully apply. You will also receive a step by step guide on how to apply and further helps and aids from us to maximise your funding success. What is the likelihood of funding? You can benefit from our experience with over 700 funding applications over the last 2 years and maximise your chances. The success rate for last years applications was 97%!! Can we organise accommodation with TravelEdventures? We organise hand picked apartments, host families and hotels for you. Course costs for 2 weeks depend on the destination and vary between 690 and 1100 Euro. The usual funding for two weeks is between 2000 and 3500 Euro making the course fully funded and giving you a great budget to organise your accommodation and flights. Additionally to the course you will have between 1500 und 2800 Euro for Travel, Accommodation and Food. When you choose economical accommodation options such as host family or apartment, your stay will be fully funded. When do we get the funding? 80% of the total funding amount will be paid before you start your course. This means you can pay for your course with the money received by the EU and don´t have to pay it yourself. The remaining 20% will be paid after your mobility is complete.
