To whom it may concern: In an effort to increase awareness of the impact sustainable practices may have on the natural resources in Brevard County, Recycle Brevard, in partnership with the Institute for Self Active Education and Brevard County Parks & Recreation, is organizing a day to celebrate sustainability on Saturday, November 16, 2013.

The day consists of two events: • the 3rd Annual Recycle Brevard Festival, to support the celebration of America Recycles Day, a Keep America Beautiful initiative, at the POW/MIA Park from 10am to 2pm 5995 N. US Highway 1, Melbourne, FL 32940 • the EcoLiving Jubilee, to explore all about sustainability and green living, at Kiwanis Island Park from 3 to 7pm 951 Kiwanis Island Park Rd., Merritt Island, FL 32952 We are seeking your company’s support for this day through participation in our sponsorship program as specified in our sponsorship package attached to this letter. We hope you will be willing to contribute to make this community event a roaring success and help us reach as many residents as possible. Recycle Brevard, Inc. is a Florida non-profit organization dedicated to promote the 3Rs in the community through educational programs that focus on young children and their families, and various projects in partnership with local organizations. Institute for Self Active Education, Inc., a Florida non-profit, is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to encouraging creative thinking through the use of open-ended reusable materials. They have a program in West Melbourne, the Reusable Resources Adventure Center, that collects overruns and by-products from businesses and individuals and then distributes them to teachers, parents, youth workers: anyone who needs open-ended creative materials to use in their curriculum. Brevard County Parks & Recreation is a government agency working to enhance the quality of life by providing many types and levels of service that reflect the interest and values of citizens and visitors. Sponsorship Rules •
Sponsor name and/or logo need to be received by organizers by October 31, 2013 to ensure inclusion on all promotional material.

Image file for logo may be a JPG or PNG file with a minimum of 300 dpi and must be emailed to organizers at
[email protected] by October 31, 2013.

“Thank you” sign will be one 18” x 38” card on the welcome table shared by all sponsors.
•
Single promotional material must fit in a bowl/container 5” wide.
•
Sponsor banner must be provided by sponsor and may be no larger than 24”x48”. Two banners will need to be provided if sponsor wants them displayed at both events. If a single banner is supplied, please indicate which event you would prefer the banner to be displayed at. Banners will be picked up the week prior to the event by Parks & Recreation and will be returned the following week.

Titanium and Platinum sponsors will be provided with a 10’x10’ booth space available in reserved area. Sponsor needs to confirm usage of space by November 8, 2013, otherwise space will not be guaranteed.

Titanium and Platinum sponsors requesting a booth space will need to provide canopy, table, chairs and materials for display at their reserved space. Electrical will not be available. Due to possible wind forces, canopy must be secured to pavement and materials secured to the table. Table does not need to be manned, in which case sponsor may come to do their set up during set up time (9-9:45 am for Recycle Brevard Festival and 1:30-2:30 pm for EcoLiving Jubilee) and then come back during break down time (2-3 pm for Recycle Brevard Festival and 6-7 pm for EcoLiving Jubilee). Please, contact event organizers by November 8, 2013 if special arrangements will be necessary.

Any materials presented or provided by sponsors must be within the theme of the event (the importance of sustainable practices in preserving our natural resources) and appropriate for all ages.

Platinum Sponsors should provide a slide for the movie preshow that is 10” x 7.5” in a JPG or PNG file by November 6.
•
Titanium Sponsors should provide a video up to 30 seconds in length for the movie preshow in an AVI or WMV file by November 6.
