Recruitment of Master Students for 2017 Spring or Fall Fang Lab 徵求碩士班學生 1. # of students to recruit: 1 2. Current planned projects (subject to changes or adjustments): (1) CT system design and assembly. The student will have to design the hardware, mechanical parts, write programs to control the hardware and image reconstruction Pre-requisites: Students with basic knowledge of electronic circuits, hardware control, data acquisition, signal processing and programming ability (in C, C++ or MATLAB) will be preferred. (2) Customized software development for medical image analysis. He/she will be in charge of one or more projects that assist physicians to develop novel image analysis and processing methods as well as customized software for such purposes. Pre-requisites: Students with moderate to good programming abilities, especially in image processing (in C, C++ or MATLAB) will be preferred. 3. Graduation requirements: (1) Meet departmental requirements for graduation (2) Choose between either: (a) Completion of at least one SCI paper for international journals; or (b) File one patent based on master project 4. Extra student responsibility: (1) Administrative affairs for the lab (2) Mentoring undergraduate students for projects (3) Assistance in preparation of future grant proposals 5. Minimum working hours: 8:00-18:00, Mon to Fri 6.
