I wish I could have this book several years ago. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Poorly written book By Chris Farley The book is poorly written. Author seems to be mathematically incompetent not distinguishing for example between a complex number and its magnitude and being sloppy and inconsistent in presentation. Quite a few typos on important points. His analysis on relay protection copies the great GE reference on the Art and Science of protective relaying at various places. His analysis on distance relaying is a disaster written by a person that seems not to understand the details behind it. The author is a very poor instructor in addition to be mathematically incompetent. Quite disappointed. Do not buy his book.
