Do I have a “tourist mindset” with a bent for religious entertainment, or am I a pilgrim following a path that is Jesus himself?
What Went Wrong? What Makes It Right? Nehemiah 13 Nehemiah returns to Susa after 12 years in Jerusalem. Sometime later, he returns to Jerusalem to find the people in need of spiritual renewal, again!
Spiritual renewal is _________________ without the son of David – Jesus.
NEHEMIAH 13 – WHAT WENT WRONG?
As we come to the end of Nehemiah, something is missing. We have the people in Jerusalem; we have the temple; we have the priests; we have the sacrificial system. All of this is wonderful. But where is David? To mention David again and again in chapter 12 reminds us that spiritual renewal is incomplete without the son of David.
