Traineeship offer Web development trainee 2013
The European Ombudsman is currently looking for a web development trainee to assist in the development of the Ombudsmanʹs Internet and Extranet sites. (http://www.ombudsman.europa.eu). The European Ombudsman investigates complaints about maladministration in the institutions and bodies of the European Union.
Description The profile sought is as follows: ● Very good knowledge of Java, J2ee, JavaServer Faces, and HTML ● Good knowledge of MyFaces, SVN, Maven, Hibernate, Spring, Tomcat, and SQL ● Development environment: Windows XP and Eclipse ● Integration environment: Unix ● Working languages: English and/or French
Location, timing, and length of the traineeship The traineeship will be based in Strasbourg and will start on 1 January 2013. The start date can be adapted. The traineeship has a minimum duration of four months. It can be extended for a period left to the Ombudsmanʹs discretion, normally up to a maximum of 12 months. A scholarship can be allocated (see conditions on the application form below).
